What are Pambu’s Plush Toys Made of?
We understand that textile allergies are a serious concern, so we want to ensure the gift you give is safe for its intended recipient. All of Pambu’s plush toys are made of polyester and polyester fiber. Specifically, the exterior of our toys use polyester and the interior of our toys use polyester fiber.
Polyester is a durable, synthetic fiber that is lightweight, quick-drying, and resistant to wrinkling, shrinking, and stretching. We believe the material is ideal for plush toys, since they often end up in the hands of young children who put them through the wringer. Because our plush toys sometimes end up in the most surprising of places after a child’s played with them, we want to ensure parents are able to easily clean our toys without worrying about damaging their child’s favorite toy.

Testing - How are Pambu’s Plush Toys Tested for Safety?
All Pambu plush toys are tested by Guangdong KAIXU Testing Technology Co., Ltd., a CPSC-accepted and ISO-certified third-party laboratory (Lab ID: 1877) located in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, China. The tests follow official U.S. safety standards, including ASTM F963-23, 16 CFR 1500 & 1501, and the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA). Each product sample is carefully examined to ensure it meets every requirement before certification is issued to Pambu LLC.
The testers evaluate the plush toys for a wide range of safety and quality standards. These include mechanical and physical safety (checking for sharp edges, small parts, and durability), flammability resistance, and chemical safety to confirm there are no harmful substances such as lead, cadmium, or phthalates. They also ensure that all toys comply with tracking label regulations under CPSIA and are certified as safe for children ages 3 and up. Every Pambu plush toy successfully passed all required safety tests.
Each time we acquire a new product, we rigorously have it tested to ensure it’s safe for your loved ones. The last thing we want you to worry about is whether the toy your loved one adores is harming them.
Age Appropriateness
How Does Pambu Test for Age Appropriateness?
Age appropriateness refers to specific age groups and the type of toys that are safest for them. Toys with removable parts or choking hazards aren’t appropriate for babies, for example. Babies haven’t developed enough yet to understand the dangers a toy sometimes presents.
To ensure our toys are appropriate for specific groups of children, we first pass each one through our testing procedures. Part of the testing procedure is to check for any sharp objects or loose parts that pose a risk to children. When a product passes the test, we know that the toy is appropriate for children as young as three years old to even adults.

How to Keep Your Pambu Plush Toys New?
Bonds with plush toys are everlasting, but that doesn’t always mean the plush toy lasts that long. At Pambu, we want our toys to be well-loved through the generations. That goal starts with understanding how to properly care for our plush toys.
Our plush toys are designed to be easy to maintain. Since they’re made out of polyester fiber, they’re capable of going through the washing machine or being hand-washed without concern. Ensure you wash the plush toy alone, however, to avoid staining it with other dyes. The best method is to handwash the plush toy in a separate tub.
Air dry the plush toy to prevent any damage.
When you know your loved one isn’t going to be using the toy for a while, store the plush toy in a cool and dark space that isn’t exposed to sunlight. Prolonged exposure to UV rays causes color bleaching.

Return Policy
To begin a return of your plush toy to Pambu Panda, verify that it meets the return qualifications. To qualify as a return, the plush toy must fall under the following categories:
Contains a stain(s) that are clearly distinct from the toy’s original color.
The toy’s seams are ripped or broken.
Stuffing is falling out of the toy.
You received a different toy from the one you purchased.
In addition, to qualify, you must request a return within 30 days of receipt.
To request a return or inquire about whether your toy qualifies, please email us at support@pambushop.com. Please include a picture of the toy, specifically showing the location of the damage or stain. Include whether you are seeking a refund or an exchange.
If your return request is approved, you will receive an email with a return label. Affix the label to the PAMBU box you received with the toy, and then bring it to any UPS pick-up facility. Once we receive your returned toy, you will be issued either a refund or a new toy.
